What Does Shamar Mean?

shamar
The word “Shamar” is the Hebrew word for watchman, to watch, to keep safe, to look, to guard, to protect, preserve, to keep covenant, to honor and to worship. The first time “shamar” is used in the Bible is in Genesis 2:15 – And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Adam’s first job was not only to be God’s servant but also to secure the land from anti-covenant enemies.”

all Prophets are watchmen
Eze 3:17, Eze 13:5, Jer 27:18, Math 24:43, Luke 2:37
Prophets are styled as watchmen, intercessors, soldiers, guards and sentinels. Prophets are called to pray, watch, and stand guard in the broken places of the wall to attack, drive or force back the enemy trying to break in. Prophets through intercession demolish the enemy plans and restore peace to hostile situations.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching...
Luke 12:37

What Do Shamar Prophets Do?
Shamar prophets are Prophetic Voice of Reformation and Kingdom Advancement within the seven culture spheres of the world. In territories, when there are hostile forces, enemy-held captives and the Kingdom of God is resisted and denied to rule and advance, Shamar Prophets, infiltrate, enter, identify, activate, equip, train, raise up and release other Shamar Guards Teams to fight their common enemy.
These new Shamar teams are now empowered through education, unity and oneness of purpose to annihilate the enemy by strategically conducting prayer resistance movements that coerce, disrupt and overthrow the Kingdom of Darkness.
Once the adversary has successfully been removed and the Kingdom of God is reigning in that territory, the senior Shamar Guard Team will transition out. The new Shamar Guard mindset has been shifted from “conquering the enemy” to now ‘shamaring” their territory – protecting and defending God’s Kingdom rule and reign. The Senior Team assists only when needed.
